High Tide Builders, LLC – Project – Coastal Home – Gulf Coast

The owner of this home bought it as a complete gut and remodel. The house made it through Katrina, and upon inspection for purchase was found to have Chinese drywall. High Tide Builders, LLC took this home down to studs, rafters, and subfloor. All electrical, HVAC, and plumbing was removed, and completely redone. We replaced the vinyl siding with Hardie board, and we added a whole new metal roof. The floor plan of the home was completely rearranged to add for a more open plan.

Kitchen Design

A second floor was added with dormers to accommodate two additional bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs, along with a bunkroom. Special attention was paid throughout the design process in incorporating views of the river its situated on. The kitchen area takes advantage of the river view.

Dining Area

The open floor plan of the dining room and kitchen area, help open the entire space up, and allow for a spectacular, panoramic view of the river in this Gulf Coast home in Mississippi. Careful attention to detail and maximizing the potential to bring in the beautiful views of the river were an important concept throughout this amazing project.

Bathroom Area

We took advantage of extra space in the floor plan to create a more spacious bath area. We used quality material in both the countertops and cabinetry. You get a sneak peak of the beautiful shower in the picture to the right by looking in the reflection of the mirror.
